Air purification 9 existing stables
Discover the realisation
In Zerkegem, air purification systems were installed on 9 existing and also on new stables. All washing water is led to and from one bacteria cellar. All systems were connected to one centralised technical room with a Draineater. Convenient for monitoring and sampling.
ON EXISTING STABLES - WELL THOUGHT-OUT CUSTOM SOLUTIONS
For each existing stable, we looked at how we could install a well-thought-out customised air purification system requiring just minor structural modifications. Factors that play a role in this include the type of ventilation, the available space for the systems, the amount of air to be purified, the construction of the stable and the customer’s requirements. Where possible, we integrated the systems into one unit, although splitting them into several units was sometimes necessary. In this specific project, this translated into 4 different constructions: 'spider', 'fans with extended ducts', 'top wall via new duct' and 'in the roof'. At the new stables, the units were built next to the stable.
ONE BACTERIA CELLAR
The wash water for all systems is located in one correctly dimensioned bacteria cellar. So one wash water sample can be taken for all systems.
We always combine a biological system with a bacteria buffer: an underground well fitted with filter material. This prevents clogging of the scrubber: bacteria will attach themselves in this buffer and not in the air scrubber.
ONE TECHNICAL ROOM WITH DRAINEATER
All systems were connected to one centralised technical room. Besides, this control room was also equipped with a ‘Draineater’: our solution to reduce waste water.
Smart follow-up for an optimal operation is ensured by connecting to our own electronic monitoring system PASmonitor.
