In Arendonk, a malfunctioning air scrubber was replaced with a completely new air purification system: a 2-stage chemical scrubber.

Replacement of chemical srubber

The existing chemical scrubber in the pig barn was no longer usable.

  • Dust easily accumulates on the vertically positioned filter packs and droplet catchers, necessitating periodic manual cleaning.
  • The pre-spray is connected to the pressure chamber, causing salt-rich wash water to splash back into this space, damaging the immediate surroundings.
  • The components in the technical room are damaged, defective, or partially no longer compliant with regulations.

Therefore, the decision was made to replace the installation to current standards. A new 2-stage chemical air scrubber was designed and installed on-site.

  • The unit is structured as follows: pre-filtering for dust capture, a horizontally positioned filter pack, and post-neutralization. The purified air is then vertically discharged via droplet catchers. This combination is maintenance-friendly and sustainable.
  • The technical room is equipped with sustainable circulation pumps and high-quality sensors and safety features.
  • Electronic monitoring enables remote monitoring and control. Result: a system that can adapt to the company's growth in accordance with changing regulations.

The installation is generously dimensioned, making accessibility for installation a challenge.

In addition, our technicians also provided the extension to the barn.
