Expansion of waiting shed with biological air scrubbing system
Discover the realisation
A slaughterhouse has expanded its waiting shed. Our customer had to take measures to reduce the possible odour nuisance for the people living in the neighbourhood. The air purification installations of CBgroep offer a perfect solution for this.
In consultation with air experts from Olfascan, the choice was made for a biological scrubbing system in which air is extracted via ventilation shafts.
The air scrubbing units and ventilation shafts with 8 accompanying fans were produced by us in our own workshop, installed on site and started up. All electrical and piping work was also carried out under our own management.
The control room is located on the ground floor for easy access. All measuring equipment, pumps and sensors are linked to our Online Service Interface (OSI) and PASmonitor. This allows technicians to monitor the installation remotely at any time. Every hour of the day, more than 25 parametres are transmitted for processing.
The scrubbing cellars are located under the offices. Rainwater from the roof is optimally used as a water supply.
Safety is also very important to us. In order to ensure safe assembly, service and maintenance, CBgroep placed cage ladders and polyester reinforced fencing.
