New air group and conversion of existing units

The new meat pigs house with 4,550 meat pigs was equipped with a multi-stage air group.  The two existing, ‘less well’ functioning air units for the 285 sow boxes were converted and connected to the washing water circuit of the new installation by CBgroep. 

A larger water lagoon was constructed to cope with longer periods of drought.

The amount of drain water is reduced by 90% through the use of a ‘selective nitrite removal system’ type Draineater.
