Overall solution for biogas plant

A biogas plant in West Flanders processes the residual product (digestate) into, among other things, a dried soil-improving fertiliser.  They wanted to get rid of ammonia and odour in the outgoing air of the drying installation.  

A 3-stage air scrubber and control room were installed after the fluidised bed dryer.

In addition, a detailed study of their personal business situation was drawn up.  The end result is an optimal ammonia and odour reduction and consists of the following overall solution:

• upstream dust collection tank
• 3-stage air scrubber
• control room
• downstream biofilter
• chimney

Our technicians were also responsible for the associated pipework, ventilation and air ducts.  The installation is also connected to our electronic monitoring system and can therefore be followed up remotely. 

Our customer was therefore completely relieved with regard to the installation of the entire air purification system.
