Slaughterhouse odour purification

In order to reduce the odour nuisance for the surroundings as much as possible around the export slaughterhouse in Tielt, the unloading and waiting area has been equipped with four large extraction fans and a biological air purification system.  This innovative technology was developed by CBgroep and assembled in the workshop in Staden.  The custom work for a seamless connection to the existing building ensures this unique form of air scrubber.  The fans and accompanying frequency regulators were built into the air purification units. Due to space limitations, the entire system was installed on the roof.  About 20 parametres per hour are transmitted to the central “PASmonitor” data server.
